basic_datagram_socket::send_multiple (3 of 3 overloads)

Send multiple datagrams on a connected socket.

template<
    typename ConstBufferSequences>
std::size_t send_multiple(
    ConstBufferSequences && buffer_sequences,
    socket_base::message_flags flags,
    boost::system::error_code & ec);

This function is used to send multiple datagrams on the datagram socket. The function call will block until one or more datagrams have been sent successfully or an error occurs. The number of datagrams sent may be less than the length of the range.

Parameters

buffer_sequences

A forward range of buffer sequences, one per datagram to send.

flags

Flags specifying how the send call is to be made.

ec

Set to indicate what error occurred, if any.

Return Value

The number of datagrams sent.

Remarks

The send_multiple operation can only be used with a connected socket. Use the send_to_multiple function to send data on an unconnected datagram socket.
